BIO
Salvatori is a Toronto-based reggae fusion artist. As a singer-songwriter, he blends various genres—from blues and rock to spoken word and hip-hop—with the one that has undoubtedly influenced him most: reggae. His heartfelt songs explore personal struggle, social justice and love, as heard on his recent debut album, Don’t Rush It (produced by Peter Bass).

His passion for reggae grew in his late teens, when he became a DJ and vocalist of the genre. This first led him to perform live, within and outside Toronto, and eventually start studio recording his own songs. Salvatori released his first reggae mixtape, Power in Unity, in the late 2000s while a professor and completing his PhD in philosophy at the University of Ottawa. Well-received, the mixtape reinforced Salvatori’s desire to create music of a confessional nature--revealing vulnerabilities within himself, worries about the modern world and a a willingness to walk alongside others going through painful experiences.

Salvatori is currently performing and promoting Don’t Rush It, as well as working on new emotionally-charged singles about memory, pain and identity.
